From Servant of All to King of Kings

The verses at the bottom of the website speak of observable Divine creative wisdom. Jesus Christ is the agent of creation1 and the living Word of God 2.

“Christ” isn’t Jesus’ last name. It’s a title which literally means “anointed one”3. In ancient Israel, prophets, priests and kings were anointed4. Jesus is all three5!

What Christ Did

The Son of God left the splendor of heaven to take a body6. Jesus made Himself of no reputation living a nomadic life amongst the oppressed and downcast7 teaching and healing many8. Men of much lesser authority — who chose to protect their reputations — conspired against Him9. Regardless, He held no grudge and offered no defense when framed and sentenced to death10. In view of this, God raised Him from the dead and installed Him at His right hand as King over all creation11.

The Lord came to Earth to establish a peaceful kingdom12 within and among those who believe13. Heirs of this spiritual kingdom materialize it when they follow the commands and example of King Jesus14.

One day Christ will descend to Earth again in great power and glory with countless angels and saints15. He will open the books and judge the living and the dead according to their works16. At that time His kingdom will be fully established here on earth as it is in heaven17.

What You Can Do

To be added to the kingdom, and be forgiven and liberated from the power of sin, you must repent18. In other words, allow yourself to undergo — or pray for — a change of mind, becoming like a little child19. Then believe — or pray that God will reveal to you — that Jesus is the Christ20.

Begin learning The Way of Jesus21 in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. A good place to start is to read the Sermon on the Mount: Matthew chapters 5-7.

Also, be sure to spend time with and receive encouragement from those who love Him22.

Just as Jesus left all to gain all, His followers, too, must serve others and overcome the trials of this life23.  In so doing, we shall reign with Him as kings, priests and judges24.
